Catholic Vs Protestant Theology

One may say, backwardly speaking, that protestants like to be good and have invented theology in order to keep themselves so, whereas Catholics like to be bad and have invented theology in order to keep their neighbours bad.

  1. In the last day, do you stand before a theology, or do you stand before God? Forget “Christianity”. We are saved not through faith in an organization, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Rev. Wm.J.Romansky

  2. Dear Rev Wm J Romansky,I’d like to bring it to your notice, in all humility and with due respect sir, that you contradict yourself. Saying “Forget Christianity,” and implying salvation “through faith in Jesus Christ alone,” don’t exactly go with each other, as I understand. If indeed our souls are so flawed and destined to be doomed, how are we supposed to reach the conclusion that one human being, who lived in an obscure past two thousand years ago, is capable of walking us to salvation? If it isn’t the “Organisation” in question, the Catholic Church, that is responsible for letting such ideas at large, then who is?Just take a case in question, Sir: I can, just today, stand up and tell the world that I am a certain predicted saviour, and that whoever doesn’t listen to me shall go to Hell and burn there unto Eternity. Or easier and safer still, I start an organisation trying to spread the teachings of a mythical, or semi-historical, “Son of God.” A few hundred years later, when the Organisation is fairly successful, how can anyone successfully prove that my “saviour” didn’t actually exist, or was a character I built around some good man innocent of fooling generations of people?I thank you for your comment, sir, and look forward to a healthy debate.
